Summary

I am a student in the Ph.D. program in ʻPhilosophy, Science, and Valuesʼ at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). I am a psychologist interested in the ways humans shape the world and themselves. Initially, I addressed the “hard problem” of consciousness, delving into the explanatory gap between brain and mind in perceptual phenomena. Later, in the master of neurosciences, I researched the influence of learning in unconscious states and its neurophysiological correlations. I also presented a second-person proposal on how to analyze the sensory experience in neurosciences unifying the neurophenomenological approach and the sensorimotor account of consciousness. Subsequently, I worked on how emotions are experienced in adverse events such as war situations and mental illness conditions. I am currently researching the phenomenological capacity of resilience as a continuous process of opening to new affordances that regulate emotional experience and allow us to make sense of life and its adversities.
