Recent publications in the field

The blog now features a page that aggregates the most recent publications in a number of relevant journals. Currently the list includes Artificial Life, Adaptive Behaviour, Biology & Philosophy, PLos Computational Biology and Theoretical Biology. The list and format might still change, but I hope you’ll find it useful already. The page is http://www.ias-research.net/publications/relevant-journals/.

About Thomas Buhrmann

My main research interest concerns the widespread assumption that skilled motor coordination is the result of homuncular computational control of the body by the brain. My work explores the extent to which a particular embodiment allows for motor coordination to arise without the need for detailed internal models.
